Bringing the research to the drawing board, we now start to design around our understanding. We’ll develop hypothetical user-types to inform journeys and content structure. You’ll receive web architecture drawings for discussion before any colouring-in happens.

As design is a subjective aspect, we use informed visual design patterns, based on user experience and customer conversion. You’ll be given directions on how to critique a design - informative feedback is important for the progression as this is a signed-off sub-phase.

Frontend and backend development is done inhouse by Kindleman staff. We have an internal process of development, browser and user testing, and quality assurance signoff before it is released to our clients.

We setup servers, version control, monitoring and other infrastructure that will assist in running the website ongoing.

Throughout the production phase you’ll be involved in sub-phase sign-offs and decision-making. If you’re producing the content for the website, this is a good time to be bringing it to completion.

Final Changes

It’s your website, so it’s important that your people love using it. We encourage feedback on the result of the production stage, and will action any hiccups. We fill the ‘Options Bucket’ in Basecamp with ideas for the future.

We run training sessions to familiarise you with the tech and how they affect the website. We encourage your team to do as much of the content entering as possible - practice is important. Now is also time to find bugs and last changes before we go live.

Content in and last changes deployed to staging, we ask you to give us instruction to go-live. There isn’t actually a go-live button to push (we wish there was), but now is the time to take a breath, fill a champagne glass, and start planning your marketing.
