Partnering with the local community is something Kindleman loves to do. So building a new website for Lane Cove Music was a perfect match.

With its beginnings in 1945, Lane Cove Music runs six concerts a year in the Lane Cove Mowbray Anglican Church in the heart of Lane Cove, NSW.

While their functional requirements weren’t complex, the design and copy needed to reflect a sophisticated community on the lower north shore of Sydney.

The website needed to be able to display the upcoming events as well as the breadth of talent over the years, and information about the history of the Club and Membership options.

We cleaned up some of the photography and images to get the feature areas popping, chose an evocative colour theme, and added some subtle animation effects.

Building on Wordpress with a page-builder is a cost-effective strategy that wasn’t available a few years ago. It has brought website development costs down for smaller websites, and offers some variety that was previously reserved for larger developments. We used an events plugin to manage the annual calendar of recitals and concerts, and some of our included pro solutions and integrations for forms, email deliverability, custom fields and newsletter marketing.

With Wordpress comes added responsibility, so we’ve also covered off security and optimisation through Cloudflare, SSL and integrated security.

The result was a fresh looking site that was easy to navigate and effortless to update - something members and visiting musicians can be proud of for years to come.

As a small NFP, with a tight budget, we found Kindleman very responsive to our needs. Excellent use of project management and associated tools to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
